The Vapor 2X Pro Goalie Skate is the top new Bauer skate for the 2019/20 season, Bauer has been ahead of the game in the goalie skate market for a few years now, and they’re looking to keep thta position this year with a new show stopping skate.

New Features for the Vapor 2X Pro Goalie Skate
Bauer has brought in their new carbon curv composite to create a stiffer boot without sacrificing weight or durability.

Featuring their trademark VERTEXX EDGE holder with the quick release trigger system, the skates have also been upgraded to the LS 5G carbon coated steel blades to ensure top quality performance in every area of the skate.

For added comfort, Bauer also added their Aerofom Memory ankle pad to provide a better feel and lock your foot into the skate.

Improving on quality, performance and durability, these skates will also be offered in custom sizing for those who want the perfect fit.

Skate Fit Profile
The Vapor series aims to be the skate for those who don’t fit the supreme line, or those that don’t find it comfortable. The 3mm extended facing creates a deeper fitting skate for those with any special requirements when it comes to skates. For added comfort, Bauer also added their Aerofom Memory ankle pad to provide a better feel and lock your foot into the skate.

Boot Construction/Stiffness/Level of Play
This Bauer 2X Pro goal skate is designed for those playing at elite levels, made to take on daily ice times and perform good throughout every push. The boot is stiff using Bauers Carbon Curv Composite to promote maximum transfer energy and top performance.

Liner/Internal Padding
Bauer’s Lock-Fit liner has grip liner in key places within the skate to ensure your foot is locked in position and wont slip. Designed to dry fast between ice times and keep your feet dry for the duration of the game.

Tongue
The Vapor 2X Pro continues to sport the Dynamic Flex tongue providing the perfect forward flex that bends with your ankle to create the perfect fit and the thickness of the tongue helps prevent lace bite.

Insoles
The 2X Pro goal skates come with Bauer’s Lock-Fit insoles, equipped with grip lining to provide a fit that will lock your ankle in place and promote the most transfer energy possible. The Lock-Fit insole also has moisture wicking features to keep your feet dry during play and making sure you always have a dry skate to put on.

Cowlings/Holders
The VERTEXX EDGE holder lifts the skate higher off the ice to give you the maximum attack angle. Equipped with the quick-release trigger for easy switching of blades whether its before a game or in between shifts.

Steel
Bauer has upgraded the steel on their 2X Pro to the LS 5G carbon coated blade to improve the blades lifetime as well as give you a better bite when getting low in your stance.

Graphics
Sleek black and grey boot with red accents surround this skate to make sure you dont on perform well but you also look good while doing it. Sporting a 2X Pro logo at the top of the ankle as well as a red stripe along the back of the foot that says Vapor. Lastly, the boot includes a yellow stripe near the toe cap to set it apart from the lower Vapor models.
